AFTERMATH The Revenge - Book Two extract
Pippa was parked outside of the apartment block where Delores and Max owned a property. She looked at her watch. Grace would be crumbling nicely back at the secret place. That secret place the bunker where she had murdered those three perverts. She didn't need to worry about her. That side of her plan was all coming together. Grace would be ready for the next stage by the time she got back. But for now Pippa had loose ends to tie up. Like unfinished business if you like. She pondered on whether to make it quick or not for Max and Delores. She hadn't decided on that one yet. She was sadistic enough and therefore in the know enough, to know that it wouldn't take much to plunge the couple back into a world of hurt and ultra-submission. And that it would be better this time. They hadn't recovered, but it would be like they had. It would be especially like they had when they were plunged back into a living nightmare of the sort that Pippa had in mind.
Delores would be with the police for some time Pippa knew that. On the passenger seat next to her, something. A little electrical box with a telephone handset attached via cord made a beeping noise. Pippa held the handset to her ear. Max was ordering food a pizza. Yes Pippa loved what the amazing Dr Melanie Lambert could do. She knew all sorts of people who had all sorts of access to all sorts of things weird and wonderful. She looked at her watch again. The food would be thirty minutes. And when that came she would 'bump' into the delivery guy on her way into the building. She would ask him if the food was for 'Max' and of course the delivery guy would say yes. And Pippa would pay the man, tell him to keep the change. She would slip into the building as someone else was coming out. Nothing suspicious there she was carrying pizza boxes after all. And then the elevator all the way to the top floor. The least that Delores and Max could have done when they off loaded that house in the burbs was to buy outright, a penthouse apartment in a stylish block. They could afford it. A twenty four seven portered block.
I'm going to see Max in the penthouse.
Pippa had winked at the head concierge and she had pressed one finger to her lips as though to ssshhh him.
It's a surprise.
She knew the etiquette in a building like this. Visitors would have to be announced via the in house intercom system. But the wink, the relaxed way that she came in to the building. And the fact that the concierge wouldn't be able to take his eyes off her assets, and the way that she was dressed would assure her a trouble free entry. A dress that flared round her mid-thighs. Sky high heels that accentuated her femininity and that perfect flawless platinum blonde hair, straight, long and that swished across her back with every stiletto'd step that she took. She could turn and give the guy one of her looks. A look that would kill. Certainly a look that would make him look away and not look at her again, ever. But she wouldn't do that. She wanted him to feel good about himself. He probably saw beautiful women every day of the week in this place. So she would stand out in his mind for a little time, even if just for that sultry wink. But then she would be 'gone'. As soon as his mind was distracted, that would be it, she would be forgotten.
Pippa stepped out of the elevator on the top floor. She got her bearings. There were only three penthouse apartments. Most of the properties of this quality had been snapped up by Middle Eastern buyers, and increasingly Far East. Delores had been lucky to snap this one up. A sale had fallen through and she had been given a tip. She ran things financial these days because Max had all but given up and withdrawn into himself. Pippa rang the doorbell intercom and waited for the click of him picking up the handset.
Pizza sir.
And she had stood to one side of the door, in case he looked through the little spyhole. He wouldn't recognise her, not from that distorted view, but she didn't want to take the chance. In the event he didn't look through that little bubble of a spyhole. He simply swung open the door.
Hi Max, long time no see.
There was a moment or two when Max just looked at her. It wasn't how Pippa looked that brought that recognition to him. It was the voice. She spoke those few words in the same tone, the same way that she used when she had been doing her worse on him. When she had been corkscrewing his cock tube. And when she had been skinning cock and balls with the scalpel. She used 'that' voice. That moment or two seemed to pass in slow motion and then he stumbled back. The door had swung right open wide and with that voice he had stumbled back. Back against the wall of the entrance foyer. At the same time that he stumbled back into that wall, Pippa stepped inside the apartment and she closed the door behind her. She also, just for effect slipped the security chain on the door so effectively no-one could get in from the outside. No-one would of course. The next person that would come to the apartment would be Delores. But that wouldn't be for some time.
I thought it was time we caught up. Oh, don't tell me, you didn't know I was in town? How rude of me not to give you advance notice of my visit. But you know, Delores knows. Right about now she is being told that I am out and about again.
Max had this strange look on his face. A strange look that was emphasised with the paleness. Pale had been his standard complexion since this had happened to him. But he had at least started to get some colour back. But that was gone now. In this instance, in this moment it was gone. He had recognised the voice and now he was seeing past the platinum blonde hair and the different makeup. He was seeing that face again. Her face. She had been the last woman, the last girl that he had raped. That had been his little hobby. Raping and abusing Delores's own victims. But she had been the last. And now she was looking right at him again. He could feel the bile rise in his throat. He wanted to be sick.
Lead the way Max. We're going to have a little chat.
Pippa smiled. Just a little smile. A crooked smile and she followed Max through.
