| STORY DESCRIPTION Michael's a well liked guy. This isn't his real name. We meet him when he's twenty-seven, a sex-addict and an alcoholic, just back from having lived and worked abroad. It's obvious he's haunted by guilt.
He's now got three women in his life, Nell, the widow of an alcoholic, who's a businesswoman and sees him okay for sex and cash.
Jennifer, a fellow alcoholic known as the Ice Maiden who's married to a politician and has two children.
Finally, at an emailing distance, there is Alethia Dawns a psychologist beloved of the nation with her own popular television show that helps couples establish the perfect relationship. Michael sees marriage to her as his only salvation and starts sending her emails that seem to know a whole lot about her personal life.
One day a new guy, Black Donald, a criminal enforcer in Glasgow's underworld comes to an AA meeting and winks at Michael. This sets in motion a series of events that can only end in tragedy.
