STORY DESCRIPTION

Tunde did not know his loyalty to his red hen would be tested. The boy wanted the best for the hen, but an intruder wanted the hen and everything for itself. For the hen to survive, the boy must be brave.

The meal had become a thorn in the flesh. The snake writhes from one end of the cage to another. The snake tried to bite the hen. The hen clucked and jumped out of the cage.

The snake managed to crawl out of the cage through the way it came. With the eggs causing disturbance, it could not move fast. It managed to crawl to the side of the fence and hid behind a sheet of zinc. That was how far it could go.
